Folk/ Rock musician Ben Kweller is surely at the top of the list of AirBob's favorite recording artist, and because of this, AirBob leapt at the opportunity to help promote him and his concerts through the Ben Kweller street team for several years. During that time, he created several pieces of graphic art for him including a flyer and a wallpaper, both of which received exceptional feedback from Kweller himself. The flyer and wallpapers were not made for commercial uses, and Ben Kweller is not a client of ours, but we thought that both turned out cool enough that we wanted to share them with you. The flyer uses several elements to make look retro without resorting to common methods like distressed textures and old-looking font styles. The arrows next to the lists for venue, time, and date are reminiscent of vintage signage and the subtle wavy designs and sparkles aid in achieving the effect.
